Experience, Knowledge and Humour Soviet, my tour guide, was a most personable, experienced and knowledgeable young man. He had been recommended to me by a relative and he lived up to all expectations. He has a great understanding of Siem Reap Province and especially the main temples. Most importantly, he knows WHEN to visit the popular sites to avoid the crowds. He has done a course in photography which is so useful and helpful. I commend him to first-time tourists and those returning to Siem Reap again and again. You will not be disappointed!

Amazing trip with a very experienced guide Angkor Wat is truly one of the seven wonders of the world. It’s unbelievable delicate wall sculptures and amazing architecture and the grand scale of the whole ancient city are beyond our imagination. We spent two full days there and visited 6 temples. Soviet Ty was our tour guide. His knowledge and expertise on the history of Angkor Wat, Siem Reap, and Cambodia gave us most memorable impression. He is also a good photographer. He knows well where and when to take most beautiful photos. During our trip, Soviet Ty shared his personal story with us. He is a caregiver, volunteer, and enthusiastic person. We are greatly satisfied with his quality of service. To a future goer who plans to visit Siem Reap and Angkor Wat and who needs a guide, Soviet Ty is the one to go with.

Exceptional Tour Guide that goes above and beyond. Viet met us at the new airport in Siem Reap and along with our driver Sour we spent the next 6 days exploring Siem Reap. Viet was an amazing guide, so knowledgable about the different Wats and attractions we visited. We did a cycle tour through the lovely countryside, a motor bike trip that culminated in us cooking our own lunch with a local family who had a very eco friendly farm. We visited small markets that really were for the local residents, to savour the experience of how the locals buy on a daily basis. Viet was so knowledgeable about local traditions and the history of Cambodia he made our trip to Siem Reap so memorable and exceptional.

Four days in Cambodia We spent four wonderful days in Cambodia. Our guide was Ty Soviet, who put together a great programme for us. We visited Angor Wat, Bayon temple, Ta Prohm temple, Phnom Kulen, Huge Reclining Buddha, Elephant sculpture, Kompong Khleang, APOPO project. We got an insight into the life of local people, we ate good local street food. Viet finally even took us to the local school where he showed us the efforts they are making to educate the local community. Viet is a very willing, friendly, informative man, who is also very good to talk to about local life, history, folk customs. It was a fantastic experience and we will definitely be back. Experience of a lifetime in Cambodia! Soviet was suggested to us as THE Cambodia tour guide by Bangkok Charlie and he didnt disappoint! My wife’s dream was to see Angkor Wat since ages and with Soviet’s guidance I was able to fulfill one her dreams which I cant thank him enough! The magical moment before sunrise at Angkor Wat the massive and beautiful history he explained and all the temples he showed us will stay with us forever and planted the desire in us to visit Cambodia again at a later time when we can spend more than 3 says there to see Cambodia in a deeper way. Unforgettable 3 Day Tour in Siem Reap Viet took my wife and I on an unforgettable 3 day tour of Siem Reap. He planned the perfect itinerary for us, fitting in many of the main temples as well as some spots that not as many tourists get to see. Cambodia is such a beautiful country with a rich history and Viet is so knowledgeable about the temples. We were able to learn so much about the temples and their construction as well as all of the ancient stories carved into the walls, without a guide we would have missed out on so much. He helped us take incredible photos at all the sights we visited and surprised us on multiple occasions with his small acts of kindness, such as asking the chef for a couple of mangoes (my wife loves mangoes) and taking us to local food stalls and treating us to local snacks. We can't wait to go back to Cambodia for another tour with Viet!

Soviet (Viet) was our guide for the 6 days we spent in Siem Reap. Viet was amazing, he fully understood that we wanted to go off the beaten track wherever possible and showed us many aspects of Cambodian life that we would have never seen on a “run of the mill” tour. We visited markets where we witnessed the locals going about their daily life buying an array of very interesting products and families who were so proud to show us around their homes. Viet’s knowledge of the history of the numerous ancient sites around Siem Reap was outstanding and he made every visit so interesting. His English is excellent and his cheeky sense of humour was lovely. His attention to the minutest of detail made our visit outstanding. We thoroughly recommend Viet as you go to guide in Siem Reap. We will definitely use Viet when we visit Cambodia next time.

I have traveled the world the last few decades, and when I do go to a foreign country I often hire a tour guide. In Siem Reqp, we hired Ty Soviet (Viet). Viet ranks with some of the best guides I have ever used. Not only does he know his countries site, he provides a historical and cultural background that greatly enhances the experience He also took us to some lesser known sites that were amazing. When we were there he directed our attention to some key elements. Viet also had a great sense of humor which wonderful making the trip more enjoyable. We had a great visit to Angkor Wat with the help of Ty Soviet. He helped to organize our visit as he was fully booked to guide us. However, he arranged one of his friends who is also an excellent guide with 10 years of experience. Nevertheless, we met Ty Soviet around the temple with his clients which is where we got a chance to take a photo with him and learn about his guiding skill . Well recommended tour guides ever.
